Why Live Goin’ Insanely All-In with AI

A no-filter, no-shirt birthday reflection

Fifty-four years old. No shirt. No riches. No regrets. If wisdom came with age, then I must’ve taken a detour somewhere because here I am—throwing everything I knew out the window and going all-in with AI. Some call it insane. I call it a necessary reboot.

They say doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. At 54, call me certifiably crazy! But when you’re using AI, doing the same thing over and over again actually gets better every time. The more you use it, the smarter it gets. So, am I insane? Or am I just playing a game where the rules have completely changed?

Once upon a time, I relied on what I already knew. But AI doesn’t care about what you know—it challenges you to unlearn and relearn. So I did just that.

During the pandemic, EMRs weren’t just about keeping records—they became essential for remote consultations, tracking outbreaks, and ensuring seamless patient care. Now, in the post-pandemic world, EMRs are even more powerful. With AI, they can predict health trends, flag potential risks, and automate the boring stuff doctors hate doing.

Then there’s AIWHYLIVE.COM. Is it a brilliant idea? Is it a colossal mistake? I have no clue. But that’s the beauty of it.

I don’t advertise my faith, my good deeds, and my income —only my failures. And this site is exactly that: a chronicle of everything AI has made me rethink, redo, and restart. Maybe it’ll inspire someone. Maybe it’ll just be my personal archive of trial and error. Either way, it’s worth trying.

I don’t know where this AI journey is taking me, but that’s the point—I’m going all-in. I’ve unlearned old rules, picked up new skills, and embraced uncertainty. And at 54, that’s insanity I can live with.

My shirt might be optional, but my commitment to growth? That’s non-negotiable.
